Lucca takes Flemish Indoor triple jump title
Lucca Goossens has added another title to his growing list of achievements by claiming gold at the Flemish Indoor Championships in the triple jump. The 18-year-old delivered a strong series of jumps to secure the top spot, continuing his impressive indoor season.
Although it wasn’t a personal best, Goossens showed consistency and control throughout the competition, clear signs of the progress he has made in recent months. His winning jump was enough to outpace the rest of the field and reaffirm his position as one of Belgium’s most promising young athletes in the discipline.
Goossens, who keeps making headlines by consistently winning all National competitions in his age group—continues to build momentum ahead of the outdoor season and his long-term target: the European U20 Championships in Finland later this year.
